I was formally trained in color theory, but my true passion for art blossomed when I began oil painting portraits. The challenge of capturing emotion and detail through portraiture was both exciting and rewarding. This dedication to my craft earned me multiple state awards, a scholarship for one of my portraits, and the opportunity to sell my first portrait for $600 at just 16 years old. These milestones fueled my drive to continue pursuing art with passion and determination.

     A significant part of my artistic journey comes from my mom, who has been my biggest influence. Growing up, I spent countless hours painting alongside her as she worked on murals and taught art classes. Her creative energy and support shaped me into the artist I am today.

     Additionally, my high school art teacher played a crucial role in nurturing my artistic abilities. Their guidance and encouragement helped me refine my skills and sparked a deeper appreciation for the technical aspects of art. Beyond painting, I have a variety of interests that inspire my creativity, such as anime and mirror engraving. Each of these hobbies allows me to explore different artistic forms, fueling my imagination and keeping me constantly inspired. My journey as an artist is shaped not only by my training but by the diverse experiences that push me to continuously grow and evolve.
